Welcome to Handelshof Mülheim!

The history of the Hotel Handelshof has been part of the history of the city for over a hundred years. The building, which was built in 1904, was meant to give the members of the church as well as their clubs a place of public assembly. It was also a hospice where travelers as well as single men could find a place to eat and sleep.

In the year 1930 the house was rebuilt as a hotel. On the 1st of July, 1934 Heinrich and Anna Hesse took over the building and established the Hotel Handelshof. Today the Hotel Handelshof is still owned by the 3rd generation Hesse family. During recent refurbishment they extended the Hotel Handelshof to a modern conference and business hotel.
